----------video Saturday 8th September, Miami 4 hours drive and we made it to Miami, we only got lost once which wasnt to bad. Arrived at the South Beach Hostel (Miami Beach). From the front it actually doesn't look to bad and the reception area looked okay also....it has a bar selling beer for 3 dollars which was a bonus for us. Now the rooms were a different story, 3 bunkbeds crammed into a space big enough for two and there was also a set of 6 lockers in the room, needless to say everyone was crawling all over each other lol. -----.............watch video hey every1, Carrie here, So if you've been to Florida before you know that you really need a holiday when you get back, everything is exhausting.......When we arrived into Orlando it was about 3 o'clock and after getting our packs that seem to be getting bigger by the day we went straight outside for a taxi, 5 mins away from the air-con and we could already feel the sweat running down our faces. We arrived at The Best Western Plaza on International Drive and after checking in arrived at our room, its so great being able to unpack for 2 weeks, our room has 2 hugh double beds, TV, large bathroom and dressing area (we are now used 2 bunk beds and 8-10 other people sharing our room) It really is a luxury not ... read more

New York New York Arrived in New York on Monday 20th August, We got the bus from Buffalo near Niagra Falls on the American side at 11 pm on Sunday Night (19th). Carrie’s Amazing idea to arrive into New York at 6 am thinking we’d only have to hang around for 6 hours to get a bed lol and able to have the day exploring . When we arrived in New York at the HI hostel we were told that checking in was at 4pm. We had hardly any sleep on the bus and had to wait 10 hours to get a room and we were exhausted. When we were leaving New York we thought that it would be a good idea to empty some stuff from our backpacks into a locker to take off some of the weight as we were coming back to the same hostel 4 days later. When we Arrived in Buffalo we realised that we had left the lonely planet in the locker so not only did we have no map to get to the hostel in Buffalo but no number to even contact them. We asked around the bus station to see if anyone knew where it was but nobody had much of an idea. Wow what another crazy bus ride, Greyhound as usual is an adverture itself! Sitting on the bus and the smell of piss was overpowering.... and this was to be another 24 hr bus journey! A woman with 5 kids was on the bus not 1 of them with a pair of shoes on there feet and completely covered in dirt. One of them had wet themselves and wasnt changed and by now it had dryed in. This black woman started slagging her off for about an hour. We could do nothing but laugh, although all we thought to ourselves was "I hope she's not on for the full journey" We were about to be sick with the smell. Lucky enough she got off 5 hours later but that was the longest five hours of our life!! ... read more

Arrived in Memphis and again the heat was a real killer, we had to find a hotel to stay in as there are no Hostels. We ended up staying in the Sleep Inn and it was way over priced 139 dollars a night fs........ We ended up out that night on Beale street and it was completly buzzin!! Every other bar there seemed to be an Elvis on or something to do with him, the street corners and alleys were packed with bands playing blues, every1 was dancin in the street to music. We ended up in Coytee Ugly for a few hours watchin the girls dancin on the bar, it was some guys birthday, he was brought up to the bar, bent over, his boxers were pulled right up from the back off his jeans ... read more

After getting off the greyhound early because of all the grief we made our way to the hostel. What a skip!! The owner had hairy ginger arm pits and she stank of pish you could smell her before you seen her! She was the first thing we walked into when we got there.... what a nice surprise, she was. We went inside to check in and we were told we were getting a double room for the same price as 2 single dorm rooms it turned out that it was a single bed in a room that was so old it was about to cave in !! There's not much to write up cause we have been so lazy the last few days- just drinking Beer, chillin at the hostel and watchin a few Video's, now thats a machine we nearly didn't know how to work.......no dvd players at this place.....its back to the old school. Since we have FREE net we're gonna stick a few pictures on anyway of us at Denver Zoo. Enjoy!! All in all we ended up staying in the Hostel of the rockies for 8 nights lol, the only other things we done was go to the cinema- The new Bourne Movie, and into town a few days. Hi Everyone, After finishing off in Las Vegas we took ourselves to the airport and rented a car. (Carries idea not mine I had to drive lol ) We decided to do a road trip for 10 days making our way from Las Vegas to Denver stopping at Bolder city, Grand Canyon, Zion Canyon , Bryce Canyon and Salt lake city and then finally finishing off in Denver. We phoned the airport and got quoted 600 dollars for the 10 days which we thought was brilliant, when we got there after adding on insurances etc it was 1100 dollars LOL what a joke!! we took it anyways and decided to leave it back after 5 days but we squeezed it all in near enough anyways. 1st off we headed from the airport Las Vegas to Bolder ... read more

We arrived here on Wednesday for 5 nights.....but we're still here, decided to stay an extra night. OMG what can we not say about Viva Las Vegas- after our first 3 days, we drank, smoked gambled and ate as much as we could and we still quids up thanks to the Roulette table.....(come on the blacks and reds) We have been 2 see two shows, one was at Planet Hollywood, it was Hans Klok the illusionist featuring Pamela Anderson no cameras were allowed in so we couldn't get any of pamela but colin sneaked a few video clips. We also went to one in the Flamingo it was a comedy show- George Wallace and an amazing group called Mosiac. (www.notaboyband.com). The group weren't the main act but they def stole the show for us.
