An overview of St Louis from the Baseball stadium
After getting off the greyhound early because of all the grief we made our way to the hostel. What a skip!! The owner had hairy ginger arm pits and she stank of pish you could smell her before you seen her! She was the first thing we walked into when we got there.... what a nice surprise, she was. We went inside to check in and we were told we were getting a double room for the same price as 2 single dorm rooms it turned out that it was a single bed in a room that was so old it was about to cave in !! Thank god we only had to stay here for 1 night. It was called Huck-finns (stay away and avoid at all costs) we grabbed a shower and jumped into a taxi to hit the town.
On the way into town the taxi-driver told us that there was a baseball game on that night so we grabbed a couple of tickets after we visited the Jefferson National Memorial Park to see the gateway arch of St Louis. It’s possible to take a ride up inside the arch but it was either that or the baseball

game because of the times that cable cars went up the arch. So we chose the Baseball game. What a game that was we were near sitting on the roof but the views were amazing! You could see everything from the players, the arch, and the city! Everything!!!! After sitting there for a while we went down to the ground level to see if we could get in for a better view. We managed to stay there for a good hour and got some good pictures from pretty close security was running around but didn’t say anything unless you sat down and stole somebody’s seat. Anyways The St Louis Cardinals won and little to our knowledge they were the World Series baseball champions for 06. Never did we think that the atmosphere at a baseball game would be so good.. Really, really enjoyed it the beer was flowing and the hot dogs were great! Expensive though as usual. Fuk sake someone has to pay there crazy wages...But who cares its still rounders!!! LOL
Never in our lives have we ever experienced humid like it, the sun was beating down and it was so humid that our clothes were soaked

with sweat and it was running down our faces it was torture! Even at night at the Baseball game it was roasting everyone was running about with the sweat lashing off them lol. But as long as there's beer to cool you down that’s the main thing. Got to bed after the game, and then up the next morning for a 5 hour bus journey to Memphis, Tennessee. Packed everything in a hurry as we slept in as usual!! Got to the Greyhound station and onto the bus only to find that i left my trainers lying outside the hostel. So i'm now running around with a pair of flipflops and timberland boots!!! whooo hoooo! Roll on florida for new pair!! I’m definitely not a morning person. Gonna try and get some pictures on as soon as we write up the rest of the blogs before we forget because it’s been so long since we've been on-line.

enjoy
