Hi All I'm just back from a 2 day cruise in Halong Bay with my tour group. It was really cool that we had a boat to ourselves and went kayaking round the large limestone rock formations (one of the James Bond movies was filmed here!) We also visited the caves that have been carved out in some of the rocks and they were pretty funny - trying to spot faces etc in the stone. Hi All Weel i spent 2 and a half days in Hanoi checking out the city and meeting the people on my tour. there's 9 of us at the moment and it's a great bunch of people. Louise, 19 from Manchester. Laura, 26 from Newcastle. Mel & Elena (25) from Toronto, Truk(26) from London and Lynn & Trever, a retired couple from South Africa. Hanoi city is busy and traffic is utter chaos. Hi All I'm here in singapore for a 1 night stopover before heading to vietnam. The 13 hour flight from London wasn't that bad - I cannot praise Singapore Airlines enough for their level of service, food was fantastic and even got some sleep as the flight was pretty empty and i had 3 seats to myself! Their entertainment system is fab - movies, cd albums, radio, nintendo games and i even taught myself some vietnamese! Here's the plan for the next year 14th may - fly to London and spend a few days with friends & family 17th May - fly to Singapore 18th May - fly to Hanoi, Vietnam 20th May - 6 week tour starts - Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and finishes in Singapore 1st July 2nd July - fly to Perth, Australia and spend 9 months travelling around Oz - will hopefuly visit Darwin, Ayers Rock, Adelaide, Melbourne, Tasmania, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns ( but not necessarily in that order! - may take the train, coach or internal flights) 23rd March 07 - [View Full Entry]

Hi All Had a really good week with loads of skiing and lots of social stuff happening. Thursday was the company ski rally and most people did it in fancy dress which was a great laugh, then there was a BBQ etc. After a big night out at Melting Poto(ur usual haunt) we were going for the bus and one of my mates fell over on ice and used me to cushion his fall! Hi All My 5 weeks in Tignes has passed so quickly and i'm loving it. Only 2 weeks left before I head home so trying to make the most of the snow and socialising. My skiing has really improved and feeling quite confident now, still not going to do any black runs yet though! Weather has been pretty good for the last week and hoping it's going to stay like that. Took a trip to Val D'Isere the other day and went shopping which was good then skiied back. Will hopefully get a night out there too before i leave. Missing [View Full Entry]
