Up at 5.00, Carme drop me off at Southern Station in Boston to take the bus to New York. After a ride from 3.30, I arrive in China town in Manhattan. I am trying to find my way in this big city to my hostel. After a long walk I decide to take the subway to go faster. The map is a maze, but finally I arrive at my destination at Columbus Circle. I subscirbe for the night and deposit my belongings in a locker. Now I'm ready to bite the apple. I walk in the street surrounded by huge skyscrapers, at the visitor center I take all the information for my discovery. I decide to take the touristic bus that pass the most interesting places. Today I went to the Library giving back my DVD. I also went to the CVS, it's a store that's 24hours open and you can find anything: beauty stuff, pharmacy, school stuff, food, cards,... I also booked my two days trip to New York. I'll take the bus at 6.30 on sunday with Fung Wah Bus Company, from Boston to New York. It's an 4 hours trip. In New York I'll spend a night at the Columbus Circle Hostels. On Monday I'll take the bus back at 20.00. Today I took some pictures of my neighboorhood...... read more

This afternoon I went to Boston. First I rode to Sullivan Square where I could park my car and take the subway (calles "T") to the center of Boston. I stepped out at "Downtown Crossing" station and walked through Boston: Boston Common (a park), Boston Public Garden, Theatre District, Chinatown. Getting up, breakfast, talking to my sister and niece thru skype and then with my parents. I wanted to leave early to be on time at my work for the first day, but when my car didn't want to start. The battery was totally empty. I called everybody but they were busy and couldn't help me quick. Finally I got the phone number of AAA (triple A), it's kind like our Touring, and I could register by phone. They could help me, but I'd to call my work to tell them I would be later. Work was ok. There are 4 children with autism and other behaviors problems and it will be a real challenge. Tomorrow another day at work.... read more

Riiing, 6 o'clock in the morning. Difficult to wake up. I must be at 8.30 p.m. at Seven Hills Foundation Hills in Worcester and it takes us 1h10 to get there. Ulrike (Ilex-fellow from Germany) count large if there is trafic jam and leave at 7.00 p.m. We arrived just on time and meet to staff poeple to whom we can ask all our questions. We recieved a lot of information about the Foundation and their policy (politique de travail - werk beleid). On the way back we've made a detour by the places we'll work and both looks nice.
