Our Trip across country, from MA to CA and back

We are headed out in late June, going down to the Shennandoah Valley, over to Charlottesville, VA, then out to Nashville, Tn, on to Dallas TX, and then San Antonio for a 3 day respite and reunion with our dachshund parent friends, then on to Tucson, AZ, and a visit with my uncle.
Then out to San Francisco for the 4th of July, then we start back the northern route, Salt Lake City, UT; North Dakota to see the Crazy Horse Memorial and Mt Rushmore, then on to Hannibal, MO to see Mark Twain's home, and then to Springfield, IL to see Lincoln's home, and then on to our biannual trip to Kent, OH to visit our other dachshund parent friends and attend the Northeast Ohio Dachshund picnic, and the previous night is our Doxie BB cookout.
Then home 😞.
I know it will go all too fast
