English...Not Gentiles Cousin Dan, himself akin to things Amish, advises that non-Amish are called English. So pardon me for calling us Gentiles - AND, it's nice to learn new things - thanks, Dan!
English ... Not Gentiles Cousin Dan Reilly offered some good information - among Amish people ... not Amish are called English; not Gentiles! Mea Culpa!
Why no photos! No photos in respect for the Amish. At home, it's considered rude and intrusive to take pictures of Amish people, even tho' they make great photo subjects.
Why no photos! I didn't take actual photos in respect for the "community." At home in New York, it is considered rude and intrusive to take pictures of the "Plain" people. There is quite an enclave of Amish Farmers near Palantine Bridge in Montgomery County. I have two depression era quilts from my Momo being finished off by an Amish lady.
Wow, some great cars! Love following along on your travels. I've eaten at the Columbia restaurant many times. Love the black bean soup and their 1905 salad. That is what we always ordered. Thanks for the memory.
AND Great Consignment Shopping There is a great consignment shop in the Winn Dixie Plaza. It's located inside the laundromat/dry cleaner. BTW we have saved time for fun in the sun by using the wash n fold service here! With the price of coin operated machines and detergent; it almost evens out. There is also a good charity thrift shop just east of the four way stop! Love this way of recycling and reuse!
Breakfast at HOBO's - St James City - Pine Island Consisted of Chicken fried steak tender and crispy smothered in gravy and lots of chunks of sausage - along side 2 overeasy eggs. Coffee and OJ - Outstanding breakfast

Hi Casey - we are leaving for Pine Island on Feb. 7 - the RV is in storage at the PI KOA - we will be there a week or so before heading to Sarasota - REALLY hope to run into you --- so, no sailboat to wait for the tide to change in the canal this time? That was a fun night!
