D'princess You had to miss our horse winning the 5th race at Saratoga for an $82,000 purse and we lost her in a claim for $25,000 to Michael Dubb, NYRA Board of Directors member.
The Joys of Cape May As you, we have no explanation for not having been to Cape May but will add it to our list. We have friends who go there twice a year and love it. As I read this I was thinking you should write a blog about the ten best camp grounds on the east coast. (or worst) I'm sure you could describe them and critique them. That would be valuable to RVers and campers. If you have a favorite site (#5) you could make a recommendation. I've got an Aunt who had a favorite camp site in Jackson Hole Wyoming. If you felt like doing some research you could include how difficult it is for foreign visitors to rent and RV. (maybe it isn't) Any way-- I'm sure there are many travel bloggers who would appreciate that kind of information.
Looks familiar Looks like you two saw a lot for such a short visit. I recognized Della's as soon as I saw the photo. We've eaten at all the places you mentioned and many more. It's hard to get a bad meal in Cape May. We stay at the Victorian Lace Inn for a week each July. Love it. Enjoy the rest of your trip south. (Lewis county got a foot of lake effect last night. Ouch!)

Dry Dock....did you try it? Hi there,
I'm a new condo owner on Longboat and just trying out the food in the area. Last time we were down, before they started renovations on the Drydock Grille, we had a fabulous meal. I had delicious shrimp tacos - so yummy. My husband had grilled halibut - also very good. If you like a drink, I had a great little cosmopolitan. Just thought I'd share my experience with you. Happy wandering....here's my condo rental site at Casa Del Mar: http://www.vrbo.com/491192 and my new blog.....just getting rolling on this one: http://mmbeachgetaway.com
Cheers,

You made my day Thank you - this one was so fun to write - I had to delay it b/c a bit busy; but can't wait to do next one - that might be Cape May NJ, a sweet Victorian town in NJ - from where we will take the RV on a Ferry to Delaware and proceed to the Outer Banks, St. Augie, Fort DeSoto (Tampa Bay), and Fort Myers (Pine Island) - Hope you will stay tuned and thanks so for the positive feedback; maybe I can be a travel writer after all!
I sampled to wine there a few years ago... was surprised that they had such good wine in Canada until I was told that Niagara on the Lake was at the same latitude as Rome, Italy.
Great time! Oh, yes, great time was had by all! Thanks for noticing. Still didn't post the big blog - about Niagara Falls, Ontario! Stay tuned - so wonderful!
We lived in Falmouth In 2011 we lived there for 6 months during the winter. You should go back and read some of our blogs. We had a great time and I loved walking down to the water every day.
Cape Cod The flowers were beautiful on the Cape. I saw some of the purplist (is that a word?) hydrangeas. Some of the homes in Provincetown had so many flowers there was no yard. Looked very English to me.
Great pix and commentary, as always. We head there (duck) with 4 other couples May 5-12. Been there (Corolla, further north) twice before and loved the beaches, biking, golf, and restaurants. 'd on northern beaches with the wild horses. - Jay & Dave
Have they succeeded? We wer in Weston in 2008 on our holiday from the Netherlands and saw the banner of the Orton family have been succesful with their campain. Did the law stay as it was??
We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company.
