Lucky You is right! Needless to say waking up to temps in the 30's and having to go to work make my retired
RV'ers realize how lucky they are. Love the pics and commentary - they're my escape!
The mirror image is awesome!

Livin' The Good Life You did the right thing and seem to really be enjoying your retirement-too many people make the mistake of waiting too long. I'm almost there. My place is in Palm Coast, Florida in Flagler County.
Cheers!
Ted
Safety First Thanks for noticing - Vivian obeys all the rules, reads food labels, uses sun screen and reminds us if we're delinquent in any health/safety issues! It's like having a 7 year old parent! A FUN parent!
On the road again Nice to see the blog again. We were on the same slice of Maryland-West Virgina a couple weeks ago when we went to South Carolina. (We took highway 17 east to Fredricksburg then I95). Have a great trip.

Out and About Again It sounds like you are having a great time once again.. We are getting ready for Halloween and enjoying our new dog Joshua.. The boats are put to sleep and we await the holiday and winter preparations.. We will be in Wardsboro once again and hope you might join us.. We will be going to Florida the first couple of weeks in April.. perhaps we will see you then?? Keep in touch and have fun..love Paula
Badly affected by the BP spill! Again, we are so sorry about the devestation to the wildlife and especially the people of this area. The preident used the ferry boat in the top pix when he was doing his disaster tour.
BP Oil Spill These are the beaches, so compromised by the oil well explosion - we feel for the wildlife and the environment AND especially the people whose livilihoods are so affectec by this disaster.
BP Oil Spill Compromised! This entire area, so incredibly beautiful and fragile on our spring 2010 visit, has felt the effect of the BP explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. We worry about the wild life (of course); but also have great concern about the people - fishermen, merchants, tourism service providers and others - who have to struggle through this.
Belmont Yes, I just finished handicapping the 13 race card and am headed for "Ticketmaker" at drf.com to finalize my wagering strategy. Of course it will probably rain and ruin my plans.
Awesome NY state We really enjoyed the views of the area.. you certainly have enjoyed your travels down south and back up north again.. I would love to be in the trunk for the ride.. much love Paula and Doc
Thanks for the feedback, Jayne. Yes, I have been by the 57th St. M-C - very cool - did you know them before the financial troubles? They started out doing mugs and ashtrays in Aurora. Would love to return - didn't get to other wineries - antique shops - other restaurants and that would all be fun. What a great place to grow up!
We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company. Joanne is a Public Relations specialist who runs her own "boutique" agency. Fall of 2015 began our 13th year keeping this travel blog. In the winter, we travel to and through Florida. We plan our route to include places of interest going to and fro and have included Williamsburg, Baltimore, Washington DC, St. Augustine, Savannah, Charlestown, Myrtle Beach, Florida's Pan Handle, New Orleans, Atlanta, Memph... full info
