A New country. Arriving into La Paz from Puno was an experience in itself. The highest capital city in the world lived up to expectations as we all felt light headed at the 4000 meter + upon arrival. Rio de Janeiro The city remains the most danerous in the world, according to figures. Its repuation made it quite nervous upon arrival. However the people we met and places we went made this seem ridiculous. On fisrt impressions the city was unique in its beauty. It is built around mountains and on the coast. The beaches are astounding and the water warm - it was a pleasant feeling to be able to relax on the beach. A long time coming.... Starting off in Lima we arrived to a city that we didnt know much about.
