well it´s been a long time since I wrote in this thing. I had a vacation with my parents, who came to visit, it was the first time I saw them in a year. I got the best welcome to bogota imaginable and met some great people. Here's some of the pics. Finally made it to Cartegena and to this internet shop I was wanting to see. I haven't really seen the city yet, but me and my friend came straight to the internet first to see what was going on...it's quite the sight to see in cartegena. I just spent a few days on the caribe of columbia. That does good things for a body. Found some really sick body surfing, some of the best of my trip, maybe the best! The beaches were amazing. You had to hike in a few miles in to Park Tayrona. Oh man...then you just relax, and sleep in hammocks. Anyone who misses columbia is sure missing a lot. I know that it could be dangerous, but it doesn´t feel like that at all, and the people are amazingly friendly. Columbia is a dream where all you wishes come true a [View Full Entry]

Now that I have your attention! So, I hiked up to the ciudad perdida, and it was just wild. I will let my pictures tell most of the stories, and try to do captions. What a hike! It was five nights, and we hiked 6 days. It was a special time with real cool people. Now i have a rendezvous with my parents to hike the inca trail! April 27 I have to be in Lima. I knew from way back that I had a rendezvous with columbia. How right I was. It is amazing here. I liked venezuela, but I like columbia more...it´s crazier yet more fun...well the main thing is the women are amazingly beautiful, it´s all true what they told me. I was not at all disappointed, but quite gratified. And it´s true what the columbian girls told me in panama city, they like americans, and americans like them! so, I had read in the lonely planet guidebook (it{s kinda like the travelers bible) that venezuelan women are suppossed to be really beautiful, so I have to say I was really disappointed when I got to venezuela. In the airport, I met las cherries when I got off the airplane...these three girls were dressed up kinda like they were famous, so I went and asked them if they were musicians and all, and they said yeah.
