well,if you think im going to do a usual blog about 9 days worth of stuff then you are very much incorrect. so here is the last 9 days, in neat bullet point form. i shall expand on bits and pieces, and leave some tantalizing cliffhangers. im being very antisocial to write this by the way, so appreciate it. - mostar was awesome and i fell in love with it pretty sharpish. on the first night i met a girl called casey and a guy called eric, we went for drinks and it was all good. - we did batta's tour, and it was the most awesome intense day ever. - we played football against a group of kids in podvelez, and absolutely annihilated them. - me and casey saw our first ever gloworm in blagaj. ... read more

hello from bosnia! yes, bosnia. currently in mostar, its raining but that shant dent spirits! had a lovely few days since last written, busy but not busy at all, and the weather has been glorious! oh yes. so a general recap! stayed in zadar for another day and spent the evening by the sun disk. the sun disk is a big cylindrical thing on the sea front, pretty unassuming in the day but at night it turns into something particularly awesome. the thing is set on top of a pretty insane light show, its beautiful. if you use windows media player, its like those visualizations you can get on there, only its huge and on the floor. rather mezmerising, or however thats spelt. i spent about an hour just looking at it, it was pretty wonderful. ... read more

i dont think i have ever been this cold in my life. ok, thats probably not true, but holy diver there be a wind a blowin. i'm currently in a little place called parnu, which i'm told is estonia's favourite summer resort. unfortunately, it's late october. or maybe thats fortunately, im not sure. either way, its mighty cold and mighty windy, and there aint many folk about. which is perfect to be honest! for those who dont use facebook, at the end of the film talked about in the last blog christina ricci's prostitute girlfriend got the death penalty, and so she should. she killed many an innocent man! that aint cool! so yeah, im in parnu. i arrived here yesterday at around 3.30ish, and did the usual staggering around the bus station lark looking for ... read more

i'm so easily amused! first it was kiek in de kok, now it's a supermarket chain in estonia that is called 'konsum'. so yeah, add an E on the end of that and you get me chuckling. so that, plus me eating crisps that have a pirate on the packet, and im getting strange looks for my chuckling. am spending a quiet evening in me couchsurfers apartment, watching some strange film about christina ricci having a lesbian affair with a murderous prostitute, who i have to say is an absolute goit. its a pretty silly. she's getting stressed because she cant get a job. shouldnt have been a whore then! thats like getting a tattoo on your face saying 'CHUMP'. or maybe i've just never had to provide before. i keep forgetting what day it is! very lame! well, it's wednesday, yesterday was tuesday and the last time i wrote one of these was monday, so here's the old 'what i've done since last time' entry. it's been a nice couple of days, so strap in for some cheeriness. arrived in tallinn a little earlier than expected monday night, it must have been about 11pm i think. i decided that the wisest move would be to get a taxi to the hostel and then, as i hadnt slept since sunday morning, sleep my little chops off. so yeah, got into the hostel, checked in, and put stuff in the room. there were quite a few people hanging about in the communal area, so i thought i'd go down and say hello and all that jazz. ... read more
