Absolutely loved it here - even if it is pretty touristy. The streets are cobble and there is a canal running through the centre of town. It was a great day trip. We did a river canal ride. ... read more

Yes it is a girls dream. Chocolate, ice cream and waffle shops where ever you turn. We spent 4 days here in Brussels. It was great and we spent a lot of time in the Grand Place which is the main centre square. We pretty much did our own walking tour and saw all the sites. We spent Easter here - possibly the best place to have easter! ... read more

We spent 6 days here in Berlin and loved it. It is such a clean city, absolutely no rubbish anywhere. Our first day we spent just walking around and we were staying on Kurfurstandamm - which is the most famous shopping avenue in Berlin. We ended up finding a park that had a lake and a big open air cafe that you can hire boats to row on. We found it after getting lost for an hour and half. We went to Sucshanhuen concentration camp which was really distrubing. another day we spent down in Potsdam which was beautiful to walk around - cobble streets. We did a walking tour that took us around the sites like Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, and Berlin Dome. The story behind how the Berlin wall came down is ... read more

Spent the morning at Tiger Temple. It was really good but the sad part is that these tigers would be drugged. Anyway it was an unreal day and Nomzy was extremely excited. After that we had lunch and then noni had a 2 hour massage. While she was in there Turny ran around and organised a cake - that even had happy birthday noni on it - and a bunch of red roses. He told me that we were just going to have coffee in our hotel restaurant but while we were waiting the ladies bought out cake and flowers and sang to me. It was such a great surpise. We had dinner at Waterfront Restaurant and Bar which was beautiful down on the waterfront. Being a Sunday our street was closed off and turned into ... read more

We spent a few too many nights in Bangkok on Khao San Rd. Bangkok is nice but only for a few nights. We visited the Royal Palace and the laying buddha which was massive. Khao San Rd was great - heaps of markets and food places. We had the best pad thai that we have ever had and it was only 25 baht, $1, you cant beat that. We left the tour group here and headed for Chiang Mai. When we got back to Bangkok we met up with Deon and Patrick. ... read more

We spent 2 nights in Phonm Penh. Here we visited the Geneside Museum and the killing fields. It was really disturbing what they did back then. They killed millions of people for no reason at all. The killed anyone who was educated or even anyone who had glasses because that is a sign of education. They were trying to make everyone equal. From there we headed to Siem Reap for 3 nights. We liked Siem Reap alot more than Phonm Penh. Angkor Wat was amazing!... read more

We flew into Ho Chi Minh city and enjoyed the sites of 6 million scooters in the streets. We were absolutely buggered when we got there and it was night so we just chilled in our room. And a nice room it was for so cheap. The next morning we didnt have any plans so we just started walking around when a guy on a cyclo (three wheel bike with a seat on the front) rode up to us. He said you pay what you want at the end. Stupid us should have realised but after 5 1/2 hours, 3 beers each for our guides along with lunch they massively ripped us off. They were screaming at us in the streets and wouldnt take what we were going to give them and followed us into the ... read more

We only did a day trip to Khai Island but i would have to say that this would happen to be up there in my favourite places in the world. It consists of three islands - Khai Nai, Khai Nuk and Khai Nui. The first island was gorgeous - they arent very big but people aren't allowed to live on them. There was only a couple of huts to eat our lunch in and the most colourful umbrellas and deck chairs. It was the most crystal blue water that i have even seen with rock pools. We were taking great pictures and the camera died - aaahhh - but i knew the battery was full charged so it didnt make sense??!!! We were devo that we werent going to get any pictures. I tried the camera ... read more
