Hello Folks, Hope your all well. We are currently in san Pedro Atacama Desert....what a place. Not been near a internet caff for over a week so no blogging. OLA We are now in Mendoza folks and today we are both suffering from sore bottoms! We did a wine tour on bikes yesterday. We cycled about 17 miles in 37 degrees (in the shade) with lots of tastings inbetween. So im feeling rather precious but what a day , it was magnificent! Summer has come early in Mendoza it usually peaks at about 40 degrees in high summer but today the temp is about 41 degrees so it is very hot in the city. Uruguay - punta del Diablo rocks! As soon as we stepped off the boat even though i had a raging fever and about four layers on in the high 20s, we felt this country was so chilled out. Richard is so strong these days he has been carrying 2 rucksacks around like a hero as i have been so weak! The roads in this country are amazingly flat with loads of palm trees and cows everyehere. Hey Bloggers! In The city of BA, been here since Monday, I think, geez we are only 2 weeks in to travelling and the days are already blending in to one another. It is a really nice city, but it is massive (3 million live in the city alone) with big roads running through the centre of it which makes you want to cough up fumes! Rio is crazy good and crazy bad! Its pissed down for three days and the city stinks! Two little punks with bare feet and a fake knife mugged us on the way back to our hostel! It was all bit of a joke as I had no idea what the hell was going on and Richard gave them 3 Rias, about 3 pounds and half a pack ciggies and then we legged it!
