Road trip pictures from Santiago up the chilean coast through the Atacama desert and finally to San Pedro. And a wee bit of Peru. We are off tommorow morning at 5am to climb down in to coca canyon, the 2nd largest canyon in the world! Camping in little huts in the villages . Its be a 3 day trek and we have to aclimatize......canny wait!

Baquedano train cementry
Abandonded steam engines and turn table. They use to transport minerals and workers through the desert during times of big nitrate mining operations but nowadays everythings is left abandonded but because the lack of environmental humidity they have correded so its kind of left as a open air musuem, but no one runs it! Only in chile.... imagine the cash you would get for that scrap metal!!
