Back home after a pretty long journey! 3 hours to Kuala Lumpar, 9 hours at the airport, 14 hours back to London and guess what...I'm jet lagged! At evonnes and fell asleep at 8pm and woke up at 5am....so thought id update you all with the plan at the moment! Plan is to do a few weeks at home, I fly back to sydney 30th May, to NZ june 6th, leave NZ June 28th, come home for a few weeks, go to New york August 3rd, leave Canada 29th August! So one month on, one month off! Kinda! Complicated yes but its a plan! So this month is dedicated to student uni stuff and blah blah...the fun stuff and catching up with every one! oooo what a sad day!!!!!!! I started my day by heading over to Senang Hati for my goodbyes, this was the start of many goodbyes and alot of sadness!! There are so so many AMAZING people at Senang Hati and it will be hard to ever forget how welcoming and incredible they are! I have certainly learnt one hell of a lot from them and will always treasure the very special times I have spent with them!! Ginny, myself and max then headed to ubud for some lunch...yumi spag bol....sooo good then over to Yayassan (the orphanage) for the hardest of the goodbyes!!! Hey all, Wow not even sure where to start this one as I feel like i've done so much! Okay so here is my rota for the week! Monday 9am-11am I work with the disabled adults at Saneng Hati! They are amazing, there positive attitude and smiley faces literally makes me so so happy! I mainly just hang out with them, chat, make jokes; me speaking to them in english is their favourite thing to do as they are deperate to learn more english! Monday 2-4pm I teach the crazy crazy crazy group A (6-8year olds)! Oh my god they are a handful but hillarious! We are learning the lyrics still to high school musical and they are just so funny! Monday morning I had orientation and meet the other volunteers who are all very cool, some from england, usa and NZ! After that I was back at the orphange teaching and this time it went alot better! I made braclets with the little ones 6-8 which was a great laugh! Tuesday Katu and his family drove us to Besahki where they are having a 10year celebration that only happens once every 10 years so for the balinese this is a very special time! Well Don (an american volunteer) and I stuck out like sore thumbs..haha! We were fully dressed in the correct clothing but its easy to spot a ginger (don) and brit (me) in a crowd of 3.5 million oriental people!!! Okay...wowie another chapter has certainly started! So I got to Bali aiport after way to many tears over a certain some-one, to find a text asking if I wanted a suprise...to my suprise two days later Jack appears!! It was amazing! We spent the week together chilling, seeing Ubud and eating lots including one night at a health concious vegetarian restuarnt which to Jacks horror served no beer or MEAT!!! haha! Very funny if you ask me! Last night we said our goodbyes the good old fashion way, we cried! Actually we were pretty controlled this time! I am now at the Orphanage in Bedulu and went to a party today at Sanang Hati Handicapped center! It was a leaving do for one of the volunteers and it was fantastic! Hey, Just a qiuckie to say i've arrived safely to Bali, Ellies hotel is amazing and Caroline and David are fantastic here!! Last night in sydney was a total tits u and all went wrong but ended up really funny! So, Jack W and I were due on the boat cruise; show dinner blah blah....we started in a bar and were both a little on edge as we knew it was our last night, so began to reminis about the good old days when we were together and how jacks grandad told us about where to travel to and well it all got a little emotional so decided to just go on the boat and leave the bar! Hey Everyone! So am just putting some last minute bits and peices together before I head to Bali! I leave for Bali Monday 30th early early!!! I get into Bali and have a few free days before starting my project with the orphans and disabled adults! Its a three week programme packed with lots of activities and caring for the locals! I will be staying with a local family for the first week which I have to say I am so nervous about as I dont want to do something wrong in their home! I am then staying at the Orphanage (no not as an orphan) where I will also spend most of my time! Have read up a little on the do's and dont's of the indonesian culture so feel 90% confidient I shouldn't offend ... read more

Hey All, So said goodbye to my travelling Buddy Kevin this morning :( I was really really sad; him and I have travelled side by side for a solid 2 months and he is like my big brother so it feels very weird to now not wake up to him jumping on my head where he's come in drunk or find him asleep at the end of my bed because he couldn't make it up the bunk beed ladder! So many funny times but all part of my great little memories...onwards and upwards tho... tomorrow myslef, Jack B and Brooke head to Canerra to stay with our friend Lee...super excited! Hey helllooo... Had a cool few days, did the Sydney Opera House Tour which was really cool! Found out that the Opera House design was actually via a competition won by a guy who never got to see his final peice as he died...cool to know! I saw Guys and dolls at the theatre which was so so wicked, really cool music and choreography! I wanted to watch the Ballet but its all sold out so any one coming to sydney and wanted to watch the ballet or the opera just make sure you book up! Gota go get my jabs now for Bali :( so must shoot as I have a needle in my handbag given to me by the pharmacy to give the doctor...very odd I know! haha!
