Long walk to the zoo Bears, cats, birds & kangaroos Chilly out but nice. I decided to change my plans today and go to the zoo with Laura as opposed to checking out the Manitoba Museum and the Planetarium. Sitting on the train Taken a vow of silence. Haha. Just kidding. 07:32/06:32 The clocks have turned back one hour sometime in the middle of the night. 07:01 I’ve just been admiring the view outside the window. Yesterday there were scores of lovely trees with lots of lovely reds, oranges and yellows. Today there are lots of coniferous trees (sorry to say that I never did pay attention on how to decipher a fir from a pine from a??) and little lakes. Off to Winnipeg On board the Canadian Get there tomorrow Wow, another month and the next part of my journey. Today, it's to hop Train Number 1 that heads West through Ontario and has a final destination of Vancouver but I will be hopping off in Winnipeg. The train leaves three times a week in both directions. From Toronto to Winnipeg it will be a +30 hour journey depending upon whether the train is on time or not. Today, Toronto. Only here a couple of days. I've been here before. I didn't have the best nights sleep since there were some pretty noisy young girls on our floor. I think it may have been their first trip away or something. It seemed like they were in high school which begs the question, "Where the hell is the person in charge of looking after you??"
