1 Trike, 2 People, 3 Rivers, 4 Countries in 50 days!

The Plan: We are arriving in Frankfurt with our Tandem Recumbent Trike -Trident Chameleon on July 4, 2012 and intend to cycle for 50 days flying back out of Frankfurt on August 22, 2012. We intend to pedal out of the airport and over to Mainz to camp our first night. We will then ride approximately 50km a day down to Basel, possibly riding into the wine country in France. Once in Switzerland we will ride across to Lake Constance and possibly around the lake. We will then backtrack a bit to Donaueschingen where we will follow the Rhine and deviate down to Salzburg. We will ride back up to Passau and over to Vienna. We then return via Neuremburg and may possibly take the train depending on our time? We are camping and hope to be hosted by many kind "future friends" via couchsurfing and warmshowers. Our intent is to meet as many people as possible and to really see all the countries that we are lucky enough to visit.
