As early as January, we planned a Valentine’s adventure in Sagada and Banaue on Feb, 13-16. All the preparations were done. We both filed for our vacation leave in the office for Feb. 14 and 15. Last March 25-26, 2007 the whole family went to Matabungkay Beach Resort at Lian Batangas to celebrate my niece’s(Marielle) 3rd birthday. The whole family consists of Celeste family(Tita Cleo, Tito Jess, Jam and Niknok); Dianne and RJ with little Adriel; Ate Cherry and Marielle, Nanay, me, Jerome and Mel. We stayed at their senior suite room which has 2 bedroom with Queen sized bed, Cable TV, Mini Bar Lounge & Dining Area, Hot & Cold Shower and Spacious Verandah. We had our own food but we ordered some on the hotel which was really overpriced! According to its website: “Once discovered, never forgotten…” ... read more

Day 3 of our Philippines Trip was spent on a floating cabin in Matabungkay (Batangas). We got the floating cabin for free 'coz the father of a friend of mine is friends with the owner. We ate, joked around, laughed, teased each other, swam...then ate again....this is as fun as it gets. Highlights: 1) Someone puts a fish in my cousin's swimsuit 2) Dared to eat raw fish 3) Freed "Lapu-lapu", the fish that Francis wants to eat that's still alive. 4) Poured buckets of water with each other 5) Pushed each other into the sea " A Picture is worth a thousand words" - The photos will fill-in the rest..... Cheers !... read more
