I love travelling! I find it really enjoyable to travel on different places and get to see the beauty of every place I've been to. I've been to different countries in Asia but I can't compare it to the beauty of my country, Philippines! Our country is very beautiful and has so many tourist spot destinations. I've been to many places in the Philippines and I must say that every place I've been to are worth visiting! I want to share with you some of the places I've been to... Enjoy :)

We went on an overnight swimming trip at Keni Po, Tagaytay City last Wednesday together with the whole family. We originally wanted to do it on a weekend but Keni Po's rooms were all fully booked already. We called them last weekend and inquired about a family room and they suggested the Villa where the room accomodates 6 persons for P3500. Excess person's charge is P200 without matress, extra matress costs P100. The Villa's amenities were bathroom with hot/cold water, aircon room, an attic, sala, dining table, kitchen with ref, stove and utensils and 3 TV's with cable. We thought it sounded good so we already reserved for it without even sending a down payment! Come Wednesday, my companions already prepared to go at Keni Po(I was about to follow them in the evening after I ... read more

Last Holy Thursday, we went at Ka Lolit's Beach Resort in San Juan, Batangas. We left our house at exactly 5:45AM but since we got lost along the way(I think we got lost somewhere at Ibaan town), we got to Laiya, San Juan at already 9AM! I thought when we got to the municipal hall of San Juan and turned right, the beach would be just a few minutes from the town, but I was wrong! We spent another 45 minutes finding Virgin Beach Resort, which was our original plan. However, when we got to the gate, the guard told us that they were fully booked since 3AM! We just asked the guard what would resort would he suggest and he then told us to go to Ka Lolit's which was about 1-2minutes from Virgin Resort. ... read more

Hannah and I went at Seri Fantasy World last week which was located inside Manila Ocean Park. I availed of the promo from Metro Deal since last year and it was only now that I got to use the voucher. The P250 voucher is for the entrance to 3 attractions which are Trick Art Museum, 3D Cinema Plus and Mirror Maze. We enjoyed Trick Art Museum out of the 3 because the pictures looks so real when you get to see it! The gallery features 3D art paintings freehanded painted by famous Korean artists. The second one was the 3D Cinema Plus that marvels and tickles your imagination with a 3D movie. The movie that we watched was Rilley’s Sky Adventure. It’s an ok movie but I guess Hannah did enjoy watching it. Basically it’s really ... read more

After checking out at Joya Lofts and Towers in Makati, we decided to pass by at Resorts World Manila since it was on our way and it was still early so ok we said let's try to see what's the fuss about this place. We just took pictures of ourselves at The Plaza, a big open space at Newport Mall, there's also vast variety of local and international cuisine of restaurants for you to choose. While at the Newport Performing Arts Theater you can watch newly shown movies at premium cinemas or watch performances of The Sound of Music. While there, me and my sister registered to become a free member at one of their member ship counters. Before that, I already registered online so the guy at the counter just asked for my name and ... read more

We checked-in at Joya Lofts and Towers at Rockwell to celebrate Adriel’s belated 5th Birthday last Jan.28, 2012. We were accommodated on a 1 Bedroom Executive with a living room with beautiful interiors; fully-equipped kitchen and also a balcony where the view boasts of the tall buildings surrounding the Makati area. We really liked the place because it has so much space(60sqm), good for family or friends. The Powerplant Mall was also just right in front of Joya, you just have to walk not very far to go to the mall if you want to relax, go shopping or eat out. I bought an angry birds cake at Conching Sabale’s before we went there and I’m really glad that Adriel liked it a lot. Before we sang Adriel the customary Happy Birthday, we went to sample ... read more

We were able to use the voucher that my sister purchased September of last year from Sun Cruises through Pakyaw deal. The deal was a 66% off on a Manila Bay Cruise valid for 1 and half hour cruise with set dinner onboard M/V Spirit of Manila. From the regular P550 she only paid P188 each. She purchased 2 vouchers and the other voucher was for me. We took our 2 daughters with us(Hannah and Dana) and the kids are still free since we declared them as 2 year olds :) If you have more than a 2 year old kid, I think you have to pay already the regular price of P550. We got to the docking area(behind Folk Arts Theater) at around 4:45PM so we waited till the registration started at 5:15PM. Once on ... read more

Ayala Triangle Symphony of Lights runs yearly and somehow became a tradition for 3 years already. Ayala Triangle locates at the heart of Makati Central Business District. Since last year, after seeing it on TV, I was really keen on seeing the light show with Hannah, but since it was very far from us I always nixed the idea of going to the city just to watch this show. However, one weekend, I decided to go watch it with Hannah and Mel, not fully realizing we were about to go to the city on a Friday, which was the day that has the most traffic! Wow, wrong move... I was able to realized that once we were on the bus already and was stucked on the traffic! Anyway, after about an hour and a half trip ... read more

Had our annual summer outing at Johndel Beach Resort together with my co-workers. As usual I cannot remember how much I paid for the contribution(you can check out their website below my post), but I was able to tag Hannah and Nora to our outing. I was quite excited for Hannah because this would be the first time that she will go see a beach so imagine my disappontment that the beach was nothing that I expected to be- almost white sand, clear water on the beach that we could make a splash and just enjoy walking on the shore... because it was all the opposite! The sand was dark brown, water was dirty and I really cannot imagine even dipping my feet there, for who knows what's beneath that dark water! Hannah however, did enjoy ... read more

I've been to Baguio City a countless times already, but this is the first time that I went there with my daughter so it's extra special to me. We went to the City of Pines last Holy Week 2011(Apr.20-23, 2011). I went together with my sister and her kids and of course the nannies. The following morning my mother and my cousin followed us. We were able to stay courtesy of our companion's uncle who were residing inside a camp in Baguio. So we really saved a lot on our accomodations since during Holy Week it was expected that rooms, hotels and even transient homes's rates shoots up a lot! Before we went up at Baguo, I was the one in charged to prepare our itinerary so I included the usual tourist spots on our must go ... read more

We availed of the promo tickets that Manila Ocean Park offered for the Musical Fountain Show for only P99 instead of the usual P300! For you to avail of the promo, you have to log on their website and register. After the registration, you will receive an SMS message for the coupon and you will present this text to the ticket booth once you arrived at the venue. Since me, my sister and cousins have 2 cellphones, we managed to register the kids too, because only one SMS coupon is for one person per transaction only. When we got to the venue, it was slightly raining so we scrumbled to get the free raincoats provided by the park. After awhile, the rain did stopped but we still did not removed our raincoats(in case another rain poured). ... read more
