Map Notes:

We had a jampacked schedule on our second day. First on our itinerary was the Singapore Science Centre, the admission fee was $5 for a child aged 3-16 yrs old and $9 for adults. The kids particularly enjoyed it but not so much for me and my sister, lol! There’s a lot of interactive exhibits with a wide range of topics that would surely get the kids hooked! I particularly liked the Tesla Coil demonstration where a 3.5million high voltage coil goes in action! It was superb! I think we spent a great deal of time there because it was already lunch time when I checked my watch.

We ate our lunch at one of the hawker food stalls at Jurong East Station. Since I’ve missed eating chicken rice, I ordered one at one of the food stalls there. I paid less than $5 and it was worth it! Absolutely delicious! After that, we proceeded to go to Singapore Botanic Gardens, it was a big mistake on our part coz it was in the afternoon and very hot at that time! The garden doesn’t have enough bench with shade that you could rest from the extreme heat of the sun. We planned on going to Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden which was inside the Botanic Gardens but turned out, it was close on a Monday, too bad. We just stayed there briefly coz we couldn’t stand the heat anymore then we went to Sentosa Island.

At Sentosa Island, we went at Siloso Beach so that the kids could enjoy some water and Hannah and Adriel really enjoyed our short time there. We also had some picture taking at the Merlion park inside Sentosa. After Sentosa, we went at Albert Center Market and ate our dinner there then proceeded to Bugis for some shopping… it was a very tiring day for us!
