Como nem tudo são flores... tinha que ter uma experiência daquelas TOTALMENTE opostas ao que se espera. Tivemos aula somente pela manhã (e que manhã linda!!!) e todos decidimos ir para praia onde algumas pessoas estavam fazendo aula de surf! "Oba, praia de surfista sempre é linda!", pensei.... bem, no Brasil costuma ser, ué... Chamamos o Aby, o motorista de uma van que cobra muito barato e bota até 15 "nego" pra dentro da van para 7. Pagamos 10 rands por cabeça para ir até lá... 30 min empilhada para me deparar com ..... UMA ESTAÇÃO DE TREM VELHA! Juro! Atrás dela tinha, realmente, uma praia... mas tão cinza e tão suja que mais parecia um canteiro de obras... Hike up the Mountain in the Town Early Wednesday morning, it's cold and windy, not favourable to climb up Table Mountain, so Shandy, Jocelyn and I set off for a morning walk and maybe a swim in Kalk Bay, just a couple of kms south of Muizenberg along the coast. A bit chilly for a swim, so we settle for breakfast with a view, and what a view... As Joce goes to work, Shandy and I start climbing the mountain. Since moving into the new house we've realised how much we've missed the internet!! So sorry for not keeping up to date with all the events and your lovely comments. We moved in to the new house on Monday 07th. The volunteer house is gorgeous and our new roommate, Lara is fab!!! (She's special too!!) Up until Wednesday night, there were 6 of us in the house. Lizzie Hannah and Lara, and three volunteers who were staying in Muizenberg. We're very excited about the move, as our new accommodation is a huge improvement on the last...however, our new housemates are a little less enthusiastic and have been causing a few difficulties for Kat and Ali from i-to-i!
