Hi guys, I just thought you might be interested in a pretty cool event I heard about. Someone I know did it a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. The best Banger Rally in Europe is back with a bang (and a cloud of smoke). Four days of adventure, fancy dress and fun as you drive and party your way through Europe’s most vibrant cities.
Pull your mates together to form a team, buy an old banger for less than £250, add your personal touch (think themes, fancy dress and lots of paint!), then head to the start line. Here you will join the other Sucata teams, point your battered bonnets in the direction of the finish line, and head off into the great unknown!
The Route
Rouen, France – Cabo da Roca, Portugal: 22-25 August 2013. 3 countries, 4 days, 1150 miles.
•Enjoy a picturesque start on the banks of the River Seine in Rouen.
•Pass through France and Spain’s most stunning coastal towns: La Rochelle and San Sebastian.
•Finish in stunning Cabo da Roca, Portugal – a surfing paradise where you can chill out on the beach and enjoy a few beers!
The Rules
•Teams of 2-5 people – larger teams may be accepted but you’ll need to talk to us first. Minimum age is 18 but check our website for other restrictions and insurance requirements.
•Team registration is just £250 & teams must raise a minimum of £1250.
