Rich in natural endowments, traditional houseboats, rolling hills and beguiling beaches, Kerala spells its magic on all its tourists. Among all the tours Kerala backwater trip is most famous among the tourists who visit Kerala from all over the world.

Kumarakom, one of the most famous tourist destinations is a cluster of island spotted on the bank of the Vembanad Lake. The major attraction in Kumarakom is the nature and the houseboats which give a unique experience to the tourists.

Alleppey is yet another backwater destination in India. It is a small town and is filled with canals, backwaters, beaches and lagoons. It is popularly known as the Venice of the East. One of the famous activities in Alleppy is the boat race that is held in the months between July and September. Another major attraction in Alleppy is the houseboat cruise that takes one through the unexplored parts of the region. Kuttanad, in Alleppy is also a striking tourist place that is rich in lush green paddy fields. It is also famous for coir production, toddy drinks and a variety of fishes. Allappuzha beach is a must-see spot on a trip to Alleppy. The pier that extends into the sea is 140 years old and is an object of awe. Vijay Park and Sea View Park offer boating facilities and many other activities.
