We are very sad to let our beauty go after travelling through Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia with her. She is a 1989 Volkswagen Kombi that was remodeled into a Campervan by Mr. Kombi in Chile. The Kombi has a refurbished engine, thanks to which over the cause of 6 months we haven’t had any break downs or problems whatsoever with it. It runs on petrol and has an aircooler. We found the car extremely reliable, it has 2 functional batteries and the motor has never let us down.

As you can see on the pictures, the inside is completely converted into a campervan with a couch that can be turned into a bed. The bed is extremely comfortable for 2 people and we preferred to sleep in it any time instead of a hostel bed. We loved having the freedom of being able to stop and sleep wherever we wanted, especially on places like the Saltflat in Uyuni and the Attacama Desert. Having the kombi saved us a lot of money on hostels and on tours aswell (Deathroad in Bolivia, Saltflattour in Uyuni, Colca Canyon and Macchu Pichu in Peru etc)
The kombi has 4 removable chairs that can be used as storage space aswell, There are also 7 cupboards for storage and there is a lot of space under the bed/sofa. It is also fully equipped with blankets, quilts, pillows, gas cooker, plates, cutlery, cups, pots and pans, coolerbox, moskito net, fan etc. There are also 2 marquees (tents attached from the roof of the kombi) that can be put up for more space. It has a pull out table to cook on aswell. The radio has an usb and ipod connection with 4 speakers and there also power plugs in the back of the car.

If you are up for an adventure, keen to see places no one else does, want to travel South America at youre own pace and in a different way than all the rest, you will have the time of your life with this beauty.

Selling price is 6’300 USD
(price negotiable)

Price includes all bedding, all cooking essentials, jerry can of 25litres, maps etc.
