The Real Equator.
the real one with experiments: walk the line with closed eyes(not possible), see the water tourning down each hemisphere(coreolis was right), less gravity on the line!! impressiv
carla and me
partytime: philippa, carla and nabiha at a salsa place
me and carla, the ecadorian girl I learnt to know better..
the middle of the world!! well this one is the historical one. the french calculated it wrong with a difference of 180 metres somewhen 1850.
party at chifa, but the police didn's want to celebrate with us. ¿que viva quito?!
an other chifa-mobil. crazy: 50 people on it and so dangerous because there are all kind of electricity lines hanging around, trees and trafficmarks which you pass so close...
chifa, party-mobil while quito-festivals. this is great: marching band playing on top of it and you can join for just 2.50$ (inclusiv all you can drink;-)
bus-station looks different than back home. it was so cold afterwards and all the buses were full, so after one hour of waiting we decided to sit on the floor and all the received energy disappeard on the journey
like evertytime, hanging around with girls;-) cleo, emely and me
Hotsprings in papallacta. first spa abroad, that's a thing I really missed so far. just great to bath in natural hot water, arouned with steam and clouds (because it's at 3400..)
torrero playing with the bull..
only one time experiance: bullfight while fiestas de quito. for 15$ six killed bulls. sometimes it was quiet a slaughtery, but one bull catched a torrero aswell, good boy. awsome was the ambiance and the people...
thats the south of quito, behind cotopaxi which I tried to clim earlier. awsome view from pichincha, all around you can see vulcanos with snow summits...
if I had a parachut I would have jumped down. was thrilling standing that close to the steep slope
Nordic-trio. Norway, Sweden, Finnland
me the ranger, you could rent horses for 10$ but you can do it by your own...
wow, impressiv and still a little bit more to go
pichincha, a little vulcano on one side of quito. Rubin from Sweden and me, climbing almoust to the top
