Jeris and Maribel went to the Carenage by Dinghy and walked up the mountain (steep) to the open market yesterday. Found several new stores. You know women they can shop till they are dead. Jeris baked a cake for Maribel's birthday, very tasty. Maribel cooked a nice dinner, in the process burnt her left arm when taking out a pot from underneath the oven. Boats aren't they fun. Pete has dinghied these two all over. Tom & Pete went to the Yacht Club, while M & J were doing laundry. Jennie came over with a care package from Joann, our daughter, in the US. In it was crystal light, chorizos, and new shoes for Pete. We gave Jennie some bracelets to take back to the US. ... read more

We also had our burger night last night. For my son in law, Brian a couple of special ones, since he is the musician in the family. We were serenaded by a steel drum player. Burgers were good, real tomatoes this time. There had been a shortage of tomatoes for a few weeks. We found anon or as they call it here Sugar Apple today, will take some pics of the fruit and veggies we bought sometime. We took the local bus from across the marina, dinghy ride, to terminal in St. George. Walked all downtown, bought fruit and veggies, then took a bus to Spice Island Mall, where IGA is, Jeris and I had split pea soup, all you need, we shared one for the price of 8 EC.
