I would love some info from anyone about which countries are great for english speaking exchange students going to Europe. I have 2 semesters that I can do in 2 seperate countries. I\'m thinking UK, Denmark, France or Spain. Any suggestions or stories would be great!

UK is a must if you want to get your bearings for that first semester. also, paris is a mere train trip away from london (if ur thinking london) which makes an awesome weekend etc. Or you could stay in paris and commute to london. So that is sort of doing two countries at once.
I cant comment on Denmark (but i have always wanted to go) but there is always stuff happening in barcelona, spain. it is unbelievable for its nightlife and meeting so many people.

hope i helped.

The Netherlands is also nice, and everybody speaks English.

what are you studing? At my university in trondheim, norway, almost all the books we use are in english and our lectures will be in english if one or more students are exchange student, alt least all the lectures i have been in. i know norway was not on your list, but it is highly recommended, and everybody speaks english as i am sure will be the same in denmark.

I think you have to come to the UK. You can see Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and england in one visa - each country has a difference in culture, language/dialect, food etc....lots of history and is easy enough to add in france - which is I also reccomend or spain or italy. I did enjoy Poland too but its a bit out of the way. If you get to the UK - you can get lots of cheap flights to almost anywhere in europe.

Hello Samij :)

My choice from the ones on your list would be Spain. I would try to learn some Spanish while there because Spanish is a good second language to know if you want to travel some more in the future.
My second would be France.
While you are in these countries look out for bargain train, bus and flight tickets and visit other parts of Europe when you have a few days off.
Of course Denmark and the UK have their good points but they are more expensive than France and Spain and the weather is not as nice.
