Thermal pools in Slovenia

Does anyone have absolutely any info on the thermal pools in Slovenia? Have you been there? How do we get to a thermal area from the airport etc?

Hi. I read a blog of a guy who is now in Devon on an outdoor leisure course, but had spent Christmas and New Year with friends in a tiny place in Slovenia that sounded just what we are after (it has thermal pools!) but I can't find him or the name of the place now! (It might have been Novo Mesto, not sure!) Are you he? If not, have you ever been to an area in Slovenia that has termal pools to laze or swim in - mud baths and stone therapys not needed! I am really interested in getting a quick break over there as soon as it is warmer. Many tas.

I went to a place called Terme 3000. The website is www.terme3000.si if you want to check it out. It wasn't like the geothermal pools that I have been to before. This was more like a public pool. They were geothermal, but it wasn't the unique spa atmosphere. They also had a mud pool. It was a large swimming pool that was water and some sort of mud, and it was supposed to be great for your skin. There were Saunas and steam rooms as well as a salon there too. I hope this helps. I think I have a blog about it, but i don't think i wrote much or put any pics up. Reply to this
