I havent travelled for ages - lived in Australia and NZ in the early seventies - have been back in London ever since - now want to do short trips with my husband - say 4/5 days to get away from it all now and again - starting with a trip to Slovenia to the thermal pools there for my painful knee! Read blog from traveller that had a friend in Novo Mesto - sounds small but perfectly formed! I might just start there! Would love tips on how to get around independently in countries where I don't speak the language.
