Barcelona to Izmir
Need advice for inexpensive transport from Barcelona to Izmir mid March.

I need to get from Barcelona to Izmir mid March. Any suggestions on least expensive forms of transport?
Fly to Athens, fly to Chios, ferry to Cesme, then ?? bus (is there one? is it expensive?) to Izmir???
If anyone can give me any suggestions, I appreciate it. Thanks.

With the new international terminal opened in Izmir, some airways have opened routes to Izmir. Please check Turkish Airlines' website for possible connections from Spain to ızmir. By Turkish Airlines I suppose you should take the plane first to Istanbul, then you should take a connection flight to Izmir.
