did anybody have personal experiences with this way?
i asking especially about the current situation in afghanistan, pakistan and mynmar.

All travel has it's risks and I read the British Foreign Office before heading into any countries. Having recently returned form SE Asia I left Pakistan off our list, although I really wanted to go there, because I felt it might land us in difficulties, I will continue to monitor because I would love to see, but risks are personal and for us it wasn't the right time. Mynamar was amazing and my only regret is that I hadn't booked flights out before we arrived as I would have followed the locals advice and gone further than Rangoon. Every country has risks these days, wherever we travel we have a set of people who have our loose (very loose) itinerary, our passport numbers etc and the understanding that if we don't post a blog (vlog from the daughter) or on a media like facebook for 3 days then we need help. Caution and safety at all times, use that gut feeling
