Getting from the airport in Eilat to Aqaba and back.

I am flying El Al from Tel Aviv to the airport in Eilat. I will be staying a few days in Aqaba to visit Petra and the Red Sea. I will then cross back into Israel to fly from Eilat back too Tel Aviv.

What is the best way to get from the airport in Eilat to my hotel in Aqaba? Are there taxis? Shuttle buses?

Thanks for any info.
