Here's one that maybe not a lot of other people will mention - but I absolutely love Copenhagen. Others that I recommend are Amsterdam, Stockholm and Edinburgh. Reply to this

I'm torn...Venice is physically beautiful and I love it. Vienna is regally beautiful for me. While Prague is just a wonderful overall city for me. They would be my choices.

It's not a city, but my type of travelin' aint in cities but Marvao, Portugal.
I've raved about it on other posts, but it's worth a visit completely. The history is amazing - it's a centuries old walled village on top of a hill looking over a vast plain. Brilliant views on clear days - even snow warning signs for in the winter! Lovely place to go to and stay at - I have to recommend the pousada (a converted old building into a hotel) there - I can't remember what it was called, but I'm sure you'll find out. I didn't actually stay there, but the people who converted it did a really good job (I went inside to have a look).
Food: good
Relaxing: not so
Views: best in Portugal
Climate: hot, but dry, so bearable (in the summer)
Leisure facilities: golf, bits of walking (nice to walk all around the walls)
History: can walk round old castle
Picturesqueness: so good it's on the 'Visit Portugal' poster
