Riga for a travel noob

Hi guys, first post here!

Erm... not much to say, heading to Riga in mid September for a long weekend with a close mate of mine and was wondering what is the night-life like, what I should look out for, things to do etc.

Absolutely anything is appreciated, only evern been to China/HK (Chinese origin) so this is totally new kettle of fish for me.

I have spent 3 days in Riga, and I absolutely loved it :DDD It was amazing just to walk down the narrow alleys and beautiful cobblestone streets. Besides street musicians give the old town a special special vibe as well. It is a perfect spot to relax and have a cup of coffee in a lovely cafe.
