Has anyone ever done this? I am thinking about renting a car for a few weeks, depending on the cost, but i have no idea how expensive that whole endeavor might be. Does anyone have any ideas of how much a car rent, gas, and/or toll prices might cost? If you have any information, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Reply to this Check out www.AutoEurope.com -- if you call you get an even BETTER discount! They were really helpful for me. Things to remember about renting: "return fee" if you return car in different city/country than original rental place AND sometimes fees for pick-up at the airport. THe Michelin.com web site is a great route planner -- gives cost of tolls & petrol costs (averages mind you). At least these are tools to use to decide what you want to do! Good luck!
