What to see in Madrid (Spain) in 3 days? and where to buy pata negra?

Hi everyone, this is my first enquiry on this forum, no doubt there will be many more as my first trip to Spain (December 2016).

I am arriving in Madrid on 6 December 2016. I am planning to hit the ground running, I will only be in Madrid for 3 nights, so I want to do as much as I can on that day.

I would like to visit the famous museums of Madrid and its most emblematic monuments. I also want to enjoy its excellent gastronomy. Could you help me choose a gastronomic route? What restaurants to visit ?.

Of course, I also want to buy a famous ham to take me home for Christmas. Could you tell me where I can buy Pata Negra Ham?. I am French, in France this product is known as <snip> or Jambon Pata Negra.

Thanks for any guidance you can give!

There's a chain of food places in Madrid called Museo de Jamon (Ham museum!). You can get a range of ham products there. Reply to this
