Has anyone been camping in Scotland?

Hey guys - curious to know if any of you have ever been camping in Scotland? I will be going sometime next year and have seen stuff such as this online offering advice <snip>

However I was wondering if I could get any tips, words of advice or any suggestions to make this holiday unforgettable from some of you guys? Many thanks in advance!

I've not been camping in Scotland, but I have been there many times. I would check when midge season is, as the little biting buggers can make camping very unpleasant! Reply to this
