Hi
So Im leaving for Europe in about a month, Im heading to Ireland Scotland England France and hoping to make it to Germany and Amsterdam as well. Sometime down the track I think I might like to find a job (preferably in Scotland) and work and travel some more.
My problem is I dont have any visas so apparently I cant stay any longer then 3 stingey months? Is there an easy way around this? I dont know how long I will be staying, it just all depends on weather I want to and if I can afford it lol. Ah when did life become so difficult hey?
Also on a completely different subject, I will be doing a lot of traveling probably by train, what is the best kind of pass for that? Or is there a cheaper way?
Thanks for any help! : )
Jess!
Reply to this Would it be wise to get a working visa? Should I be able to get that in a month?
Reply to this I am canadian. I can stay in the schegen zone for 180 days a year. I can also stay in Ireland for 90 days and the UK for 6 months. I recommend you go to Europe first, then Ireland and after the Uk. If you are looking for a job without a visa it will hard, but possible. You could consider giving a hand in an hostel where you will be allowed to stay for free and they will feed you. I know a couple place in Ireland and Holland doing it.
You could also try woofing or an alternative project.
cheers

Reply to this Hey Jess,
One of my good friends and I are doing a similar trip but starting mid-June. We're headed to Ireland, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Greece. Would love to meet up if you're still around traveling and if we happen to be in a similar location 😊
