I dont think I take the types of photos that people rate, but I am posting this one here, because I like it. :)

I'd like to know how people rate this photo of mine - and also the blog that it appears on...

I'm like you Mell, I take photos I like, others may not understand my humour.

I have two from my last trip I equally love. Both capture Cuba in my eyes.

I've been lucky enough to have been to some amazing places (the kind of places it would be difficult to take a bad photo of).

I think these two from Yosemite National Park rate amongst my all time favourites. I'd just 'invested' in a digital SLR, so these made me feel less guilty spending all that money.

I haven't taken any photography classes and can barely operate my digital camera. My thoughts on taking great pictures is to take 1000's and you are bound to capture a few great ones. Here are 2 shots we both love, one Alan took and the other myself. Contest! Which do you like better?

Our favourite shots were both just really lucky.

My favourite photo I've taken is:

I just love him. It was just right place, right time and no talent required.

Al's favourite that he has taken is:

Also because it was unexpected.

I guess some people agree with us as they are some of our highly rated photos. Reply to this

This was a headstone (wooden) in a climbers cemetary near Bariloche - I think the detail in the carving is amazing! Reply to this

this was taken with a basic digital camera by holding it next to the eye piece of a telescope! Reply to this
