Has anyone else done this? Any help or advice would be great. Also we are looking for some cheap accommodation in Milan for a few nights while we go to the bike show we would like to be close to the bike show. Anyways if your're really convinced of this idea, try to check online, like on www.automotori.com. Although quite a challenge (and unfortunately standards are pretty low) but you could find some interesting <snip>here! Hope you enjoy your trip! ciao! Mr Traveler Miko Smith Post Count: 5 Msg: #5 46 days ago, October 6th 2009 | Well there are many options for that. One is you can rent a car if your just staying in a place for 1-3months. You can find a lot of good deals in the internet. Second is to get a rail pass so you can just hop on and off any railway offered in the Eurail Network. If you really want to buy and sell a car, pick a second hand. Remember to choose wisely, get a good condition car so that you can easily sell it afterwards. Otherwise good luck. | overit2 Deborah Post Count: 21 Msg: #6 45 days ago, October 6th 2009 | Thanks Mr Traveler I do want a second hand one and one that I can re sell at the end. I will be in Europe and the UK 9 mths in total and really like the freedom of a car. I ride Motorbikes at home but will be there in winter and have to mush stuff with me for a Motorbike. | Deborah Lloyd Macaroni lloyd Macaroni Post Count: 10 Msg: #7 31 days ago, October 21st 2009 | i think it shouldn't be very difficult since italy is famous with their small economy cars so you will find a deal for sure. I think buying a cir will be much cheaper than renting it for 9 months! and you can resell it after like you said. | overit2 Deborah Post Count: 21 Msg: #8 25 days ago, October 27th 2009 | Thanks Lloyd I will let you know how it goed in 2 weeks. | Deborah Number of Users: 4 | Number of Posts: 8 | ||||||||||||||||
