Walls of flame roared across southeastern Australia, razing scores of homes, forests and farmland in the sunburned country's worst wildfire disaster in a quarter century.

While firebugs are being blamed for several blazes ravaging Victoria, the Country Fire Authority has confirmed that several fires are being deliberately relit by arsonists.

The death toll as of yesterday was 182 and approxiamately 700 homes destroyed.There has been one person arrested as of today for deliberately lighting one of the fires in Gippsland. Reply to this
