I don't know London proper as well as I know the surrounding area, but I know where you can find out the weather and book amazingly low airline tickets. I have gotten some dirt cheap airline tickets through You can also find the best deals on all inclusive travel packages.

I hope that helps.

Hi Onur!

Trains in England are very expensive, but you can travel by bus, to go for example to Brighton, Oxford or Cambridge...it will take more than with the train, obviously, but it is much cheaper and buses are comfortable and clean. Reply to this

Try www.nationalexpress.com for cheap buses between most cities in the UK. There are lots of lovely historic cities nearby, or lovely coastline or countryside. It really depends what you like to do.
London is the most expensive city in the country so if you are concerned about money then you are best spending most of your time elsewhere. Reply to this

I just wonder about these cheap flights.Do i have to make a book 2-3 months before the flight or should i wait till the last day so i can buy ticket of cancelled reservation book?how do they sell the tickets as cheap ticktes? Reply to this

You are best booking in advance. The cheapest tickets are sold first, then they get more expensive as the flight sells out. They often have special offers as well if you book early enough.
Try Ryanair, BMI baby, Fly Be and Easyjet.

I hear London has a lot of great shows and musicals. Definitely try to check them out. Billy Elliott came out last year and has done so well they are bringing it to Broadway. Reply to this

Hi! You could easily spend 2 weeks in London alone and still have lots of things that you won't have time to see! London is my favorite city in the world! Bath is beautiful and not far away, and Brighton is amazing too! I hope you enjoy your stay! Reply to this

2 weeks is not enough time to spend there. Why don;t you spend more time there at least 5weeks. Take the most advantage of your airline ticket. Reply to this

Heathrow has easy access you can jump straight on the underground and go anywhere, however depending on what time of the day you arrive. During rush hour (7-9am and 4:30-7pm) you may be better off arriving at Luton and taking the train, it is much more civilized than the tube at rush hour which is somewhat like a battle field from the middle ages... and with a load of luggage it won't be fun... And I agree with Pandaluv... do yourself a huge favor and extend your ticket! London is one of the coolest cities in the world! The music, the people, the art, the vibe... a truly exiting place to be 😊 I'm going back next week and I am really looking forward to it! Reply to this

I would personally recommend staying outside of london and travelling in daily as it can work out cheaper and trains are regular, also means you dont have to worry about all the traffic and you can explore elsewhere as well.

It means too that you dont have to pay the expense of a London Hotel or have to stay in a hostel or similar in an unknown area

Hello Nautilis 😊

The following hostel has cheap beds and is central. Or do you not want to be in the center for some reason?

Piccadilly Hotel

You should visit the Imperial War Museum in London. Entry is free and it's very interesting to find out about all the wars the british have fought. Reply to this

And in case anybody hasnt yet mentions it, get a map of central London. You will be able to walk around a lot of it and save on bus and tube fares. Reply to this
