What do you think about religion?

Are you religious? If so which religion are you? What do you get out of being religious? If you are not religious why not?

Shall we get into what happens in countries that have no God? Nothing to hold the hand of the government back? Let's look at the forced abortions in communist countries. The millions murdered in the Soviet Union, China, and the such. There's no freedom of speech. There's no rights for women. There's no rights for anyone in those countries. It is through Christianity that you have any rights, because with religion the rights do not come from man - the come from God. In as much as they come from God a man cannot take them. If rights come from man - then another man can take them without any guile. There's no crime in harming others - because there's no thought to punishment in the next world. It was through the use of getting rid of God that the Nazis were able to have concentration camps as well as the holocaust. Those men had no fear of God. You live in an unreal Utopia if you believe that about religion. Even the Muslims are far kinder than those who have no God at all. Reply to this

But, I dont really think it is of any value to the discussion to decide which religion is worse than which, since I think they are all equal as far as pros and cons are concerned.

But, I suppose people are entitled to frantically and feverishly thumb through the Quoran and Bible to dig up as much evidence of evil about the other and good about their own as they can, and then sling it on to the internet forums. Free speech and all that! Reply to this

There is no such country, unless the only god you recognise and or accept is your own version.
