Please tell us in detail which cities are your favorites and why? Do you long to go back to them? Is there a particular neighborhood you enjoy? Reply to this

From 1995 to 1999 I attended university in Berlin.
This is really a fascinating place with history and future.
My university and homes were in the south-west, which is the better and more expensive part of the city.
Other well known areas are Kreuzberg filled with migrants and creative people, the center called Mitte and the Prenzlauer Berg which became a very nice living quarter.
For around one year the new airport is finished and big companies like Tesla moved into the region.
But still the average income is lower than in the rest of Germany as many corporate headquartes moved to Western Germany after WWII.
So this is a major difference when comparing Berlin to Paris or London.
