Poor Mans Galapagos...

This morning we went to a town called Paracas where they have the Ballestas Islands. The island are only a 25 minute ride from the town and are called the poor mans Galapagos. To be honest I thought it sucked big time! Nothing to do w actually seeing the Galapagos but I just didn´t like it. You pretty much drive around the island for a half hour and see the birds, sea lions and penguins. The penguins were probably the only plus about it bc I didn´t really get to see any in the Galapagos. Anyway tonight we leave for Arequipa at 8 pm. The bus ride is 11 hrs. but we booked a pretty nice bus so we´ll see how it goes...
