28thDecember 2012. We have seen a lot in the past few days and today was no different. After breakfast, we arrived in Beaconsfield, an old historic mining town. Beaconsfield was made famous by the story of the two miners who were trapped a kilometre underground for about 2 weeks. It was very educational visiting the mining centre, especially for Sasha and Alyssa. Besides the mining story, there were other artifacts which made this visit worthy. After Beaconsfield, we headed north towards Green Beach, which proved to be very popular with the locals. It was very windy and cold, but that didn't stop the locals going for a swim.
