Tuesday 9th Before we headed out of Kingston SE, we went walkabout around Kingston. There is a small marina plus excellent boat launching ramps close to the park where we camped. To get there, we walked past a creek that feeds into the marina/anchorage, and this seems to be overnight home for a small group of pelicans. Locals like to go fishing off the rock walls leading to the marina/anchorage. They claim good catches around sunset, but we didn't give it a go. We also walked down to the old Jaffa Point lighthouse. This is a museum, but we were not there at general opening hours. However, it is an interesting piece of Australian history. This lighthouse was a platform mounted lighthouse on an off shore reef.
