Mon 17. Drove to Glebe Point Road markets. Lackluster. One guy said he'd seen heaps of stickers in Byron. Girl said she'd gotten one somewhere. Later found myself at Darling Point. Absolutely perfect, light air, clean clear water. Thick seaweed. Yachts beating, tacking, rounding finish mark. Shower at tennis club. Shower of rain on my laundry. Cool overcast.
Mar 18. Early in to town. Got off wrong station. It was Martin Place. Did brief ambush advertising Channel Seven morning show. Clearly seen on screen. Walked to Rocks. Found I had to go over bridge by train. Got there and went to front row at ribbon. Ribbon cut by kid. I got a piece as souvenir. Walked over. Spruiked three hours. They came past in their multitudes. Stickers went out til I ran out. Walked to quay. Ferry to Double Bay and car for more stickers. Dashed to Rose Bay and caught same ferry going to Watsons Bay and then back to city! Spruiked all that batch making 360 went out which has got to be the record for one day. Music from National Trust scene kept things lively. Walk to quay and ferry back just in time for shower at tennis club. Wonderful day on bridge. Told twice to walk on which I ignored. So many faces, families. The overcast sky was perfect for walking. Free light green caps were given out so it was an endless sea of green. My legs ached. Good fun but.
