With living so close to the bush and having a daily early morning alarm call, we thought we’d go walk-about and meet our feathered neighbours, taking the dogs to guide us safely along the fire breaks, and scare off any dangerous inhabitants! Although this was just a small wooded area in amongst residential dwellings in Menai, the scenery was everything you’d imagine from a walk through the Australian bush, and topped off by great weather and the sound track of the local wildlife including Cockatoo’s and Kookaburra’s. Needless to say Bella and Lucy just wanted to charge around sniffing and chasing anything that looked interesting.
