Is it bad that i cannot listen to New Zealander accents without giggling? maybe this isnt the best place for me to go if i am going to be laughing when people try to talk to me. Not much going on at work today. With the system down i am free to surf the net, check facebook look up porn etc. (They said that we are only NOT allowed on amazon, ebay and craigslist...so i am assuming that looking up porn is acceptible.) However here I am looking up New Zealand radio stations on the net, and maori pronuciation guides. A part of me wants so badly be prepared for going abroad. Det har ikke været helt let at holde tankerne alene i USA, når skoleåret hjemme på Rudehøj når sin afslutning. Således har vi fulgt en del med i det, der foregår, og i dag kunne vi ikke dy os for at ringe op, medens medarbejderne fejrede sommerferie sammen med deres familier. Alt var heldigvis gået rigtig godt, og det er vi taknemmelige over. Nu er vi ikke længere på orlov, men på ferie, kan man sige! Afslapningsøvelser - gør mester Ellers gør vi os en del umage for at slappe af og være tilstede i nuet, som det så moderne udtrykkes. Mette anerkender særligt Oregon og dets beboere som stedet, hvor man virkelig føler sig hjemme og slapper af. Måske så meget, at vi kan anklages for ikke at informere på bloggen godt nok. not sure what happened when I was putting all the lost blogs back up but this is the rest of the entry from UT to AK... Day Five, Monday, July 2, 2007 Back on the road again, traveling with my son again, he’s in the driver’s seat again… He says I had a chance to drive and I failed; guess I just could not go fast enough. Of course the fact that it was night and one could not see too far ahead has nothing to do with it? We are on our way north again toward Salt Lake City, UT. Going through desert with mountains around us. This car, Honda Civic, is quite nice for traveling in, lots of leg and headroom. It's June 19th....my bag (very singular!) is ready to go...I hope... The next two months I will be backpacking around Europe....first stop is London, England where I'm staying with my new friend Chris! I'm doing a thing called couchsurfing...it's this great network of people who open their couches to others from around the world...So I will be surfing throughout Europe...A little daring you say?
